T. Lynn Chilgren Properties has been providing secure, affordable and well maintained off-campus apartment homes for over 30 years.

Where are the Properties Located?

Most of our properties are conveniently located in Dinkytown and are within walking distance to Campus. Additional units are located within a one and a half mile radius of the east and west campuses in the Marcy Holmes and Prospect Park Neighborhoods.

Where is your Rental Office Located?

We are conveniently located at 600 University Ave. SE.  Our entrance is on the west side of the building, off 6th Ave. SE.

What Kind of Rentals do you Provide?

We offer 1-4 bedroom apartments, houses and duplexes.

How Long are the Leases?

Our Leases are 12 months long unless otherwise stated.

Do you Provide Roommate Matching Services?

No. We offer entire apartment homes.

Do You Allow Pets?

Cats are allowed with a non-refundable Deposit. Dogs are not allowed.

How do I schedule a Tour?

Just email us the units you would like to tour and the days/times you are available to meet.  We will get back to you and schedule the tour.

Do my roommates and I sign separate leases?

No. You are all on one/the same lease for the unit you rent.

What if there is a maintenance issue?

We are available 24-7 for emergencies and will respond ASAP. Non-Emergency maintenance issues are addressed within 1-3 days.

Do you allow Subletting?

Yes. With a completed sublet form and a sublet fee.

Are your Buildings Secure?

Yes. All properties have locked entrances and are well lit. All windows have working locks and as an extra precaution removable window bolts are installed in all ground level windows.

Do you have Parking?

Yes. Off-street contract Parking is available at several properties. Some properties come with free off-street parking.

How do I apply?

Once you’ve toured the apartment and have made your decision, you will contact us to request an application and schedule your appointment for the lease signing. You will bring the completed application(s) and your payment(s) of $45.00 each for the application fee(s),  Damage Deposit (equal to one month’s rent), AND your Last Month’s Rent payment.  Your first month’s rent will be due just prior to your move-in date.

How long is the Lease signing appointment?

If your application is completed beforehand, the lease signing will take approximately 20-40 minutes.  We will go through the entire lease with you and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
